Jackson Air Baby Shower

Christi and Brooke gave me the MOST AMAZING baby shower.  It was like nothing I have ever seen and so much more then I could have ever asked for.  Of course it was an airline theme! It couldn't have been a more special day.  I am grateful for Christi and her friendship.  In many ways she is like a second mom to me.  I am going to miss not seeing her at work each day.  We sure have some funny memories!!!  And Brooke...well she is forever my sister and best friend!

Here are some pictures from the
Us girls with our boarding passes!
Upon our arrival we were issued boarding passes with our seat assignment.  The flight attendants ripped part of our ticket to be placed in the red suitcases for duty free drawings!

These cute suitcases were the perfect addition to Jackson's Dresser!

Mr. Mark helped with the parking situation outside!  What a stud

Okay...This cake was to DIE for!  Christi, Alec and I stumbled upon this cake shop in Dallas.  (We did a quick U-turn and tried about 10 different flavors one day!) The owner was on Cake Boss season 1!  Could this cake be any cuter?

Chicken in Lemon and Cream
Or Beef! DELISH (can't get the pic to rotate)

The Duty Free Shop drawings.

My darling nieces in matching outfits! Too Cute

Burg and Liz...Love these girls

Cute burp cloths from mom

Ryans favorite gift...a stroller that folds in one step and is super light weight.
We would recommend this stroller to everyone!
The flight attendants!  They passed out drinks, lunch and brought gifts to me in suitcases!

3 years and Counting!!

We had the most perfect wedding! I can not believe we have been married for three years. This is my most favorite wedding picture...

Just before going out...

Ryan took me out to where we went to dinner on our first date. It was a perfect night out with my sweet husband!! He is so good to me and I couldn't be happier to be his wife! I can't wait to see him as a dad... Days to go:)

Nesting...

With Jackson joining us in just weeks I am really feeling the need for nesting!! My list just gets longer and longer as if I will not be able to do a single thing once he is here.

Carpets cleaned...

Craft room organized...too bad I didn't take a before pic. It was BAD!!
Car needs to be detailed, baby clothes washed, freezer meals made, hospital bags packed, jacks room needs finishing touches and much more....I hope we can get it all done in time.

Odds and Ends

This is a random post but it had been a while...

I am most definitely looking and feeling more pregnant every day! Time is flying by. Here is what 6 months looks like...

And Here are a few of my Sunday updates...
Ryan made this darling board (check them out on etsy...chunky monkey frames!!)

23 Weeks

24 Weeks

25 Weeks

I found these darling airplane prints on etsy and could not be happier with them. The colors are perfect and I love them hanging all together. With some gallery frames and Ryan's airplane propeller I think it came together quite nice:) Ryan is a pro when it comes to hanging things. He had this measured and leveled and in its perfect place in no time!! He is as handy as a pocket knife:)

My other project has been a chevron quilt for Jackson. When I first got my sewing machine I made a quilt similar to this only it was strait lines. The zig zag threw a challenge in there but it is going to be darling when/if I finish it. The sewing is done but now the back needs to be cut in between each seam, binding needs to be attached and a monogram attached! Then it can be washed and frayed to reveal the final product!! I'll update pictures with my progress!!

I think there are 12 ladies in my ward all pregnant at the same time. It's a little nuts! 2 baby showers this week and another next. I decided I would do hooded baby towels for gifts. They have been fun to do. I even ventured into appliquéing and have to say I did okay! It might be my new thing;) here is what I did for my friend Margie who is having a little boy.

A coordinating bus for the hood of the towel.

An S for Samuel in the center at the bottom of the towel!

Such a boy print!

Well I guess that's it for now. I head off to NYC on Friday with Alec. We have lots planed. Pictures to come!

Progress on Jackson's room!

I have always wanted a rocking chair in the babies room. But not just a rocking chair but a big comfy chair. I have had a hard time finding one that I liked that was not super over priced. I was thrilled when this one caught my eye! It's so simple but so perfect!

Ryan got the dresser sprayed. We love the navy blue:)

I ordered these cute burp clothes on etsy and just love them! The lady did a great job. I can't stop myself sometimes from buying things. It's addicting!!

A random post I know!
