Easter

What a beautiful time of year!  I just love Easter.  It means bright colors, spring weather and family get togethers!  I am so glad and grateful to my Savior for the love He has for me.  It was a perfect Easter day!  Jackson looked so handsome in his darling Easter sweater.  He is such a happy boy, I just can't get enough!!

Church meetings were wonderful.  We had lots of musical numbers and great speakers.  We followed that with a huge family dinner at Aunt Cheri and Uncle Alan's.  Ham, turkey, rolls, potatoes, deviled eggs, pretzel salad, asparagus, baked beans and pies! WOW what a meal it was:)  Saturday the cousins all got together for a fun egg hunt.  Here are a few pictures!

Camping Trip!

We went camping this week for spring break!  It was a blast and we hope to do it again soon.  I felt a little crazy taking a 3 month old camping but it was great! Jackson sure loves the good out doors:)  It was FREEZING cold the first night but we bundled up and survived.  The days were filled with cowboy golf, horse shoes, bike rides, walks to the little pond and lots of snacking!  We sang songs with grandma and her ukulele and made woofums for the first time!  Good memories were made this week!

Baby Pictures

I was not going to get pictures done of Jackson, but I could not stop thinking about it.  So I broke down and made an appointment.  I think they change so fast and don't look like a little newborn for long so I am happy with his pictures being at 2 months.  I think it turned out to be a great age and might just make that the standard for all my kids!  Cyndee Jex did an amazing job and these are only a few of her preview to me!  I can't wait to get the rest!

Jackson's Blessing Day!

We had such a wonderful weekend.  The Dunstan's made it down on Friday afternoon.  We had a fun sleepover with Alec, Abbie and Carter.  Saturday consisted of eating, shopping and more eating! (that's what we do in Dallas!)

Sunday was perfect!  We went to our church meetings and then to my parents house to bless Jackson.  It was such a special day and one I hope to never forget.  Ryan did an amazing job on the blessing for Jackson.  We enjoyed tons of delicious food.  A pasta bar with chicken fettuccini, spaghetti, lasagna, brown butter pasta, salad, fruit and bread.  I don't think anyone went hungry!  It was great to relax and visit with one another.

Jackson is 2 months!

Happy Valentine's Day!!  There is lots of love in this house for this little guy:)  He could not be a happier baby.  He is getting so big, so SO fast!  He has been a great sleeper since we brought him home sleeping 5 hours a night and is now up to 8!  I can't complain one bit about loosing sleep.  I actually think I am getting more sleep with this guy then I was before :) His belly is growing...he sure likes his groceries!

Jackson is 1 Month!

This happy boy is 1 month old and man does time fly! Everyone said it would...but I really does! He has been such a great baby.  I can't complain at all.  Just loves to swim in his bath and is giving the best little smiles.  It has been a busy month with Anna's Baptism Christmas, New Years and his first trip to the cabin.  That trip was cut short after dad fell off a ladder and broke his neck.   Thankfully he is still here with us and now has to be in a "halo" for 3 months.  I am grateful for my little family.  Jackson has been so much fun.  Ryan and I are thrilled to be his parents.  Here are a few pictures...
