Christmas 2013!

Christmas Eve!!!
Christmas Eve was spent and my mom and dads house.  Ryan was out of town and would join us for our own family Christmas a few days later.  Jackson and I enjoyed a delicious dinner and great company.  It was so much fun to have grandma and grandpa George here for a few weeks.  They spent Christmas day with my aunt Cheri and uncle Alan, we were able to spend Christmas Eve with them and that was great!

As you can see, he has become quite the kisser!

Grandpa and Grandma George, mom, and aunt Cheri

After diner, we all settled in for our nativity program!  Jackson was one of the shepherds.

During dinner it seemed he was not feeling so well.  As the night went on, his head felt warm and he started to look like a sick boy.  When we got home, he had a fever so I gave him some medicine and put him to bed.

Christmas Day!!!
We got to my parents around 9am.  We were all so excited to Skype with Uncle Jeff who is serving in Russia right now! He looked great and it was fun to hear him speak the language.  I can't imagine learning that language.  My grandpa said all you need to do is fill your mouth with marbles and talk!  It will practically sound the same:)

More kisses for grandma Christmas morning!

This boy snuggled with mom with another high fever for the afternoon.  I had given him more medicine in the morning, and a couple more times throughout the day but nothing seemed to help.  By the end of the day his fever was at 104.1 and after calling his doctor we had an appointment with her the next morning.  Come to find out the poor guy had pneumonia.  (he was just finishing an antibiotic for a double ear infection that he had on top of RSV)  I am so thankful we were able to get him in and feeling better.  He was a sick boy and that is never fun.

Christmas with DAD!!!
Ryan was home and it felt once again like Christmas.  I made our favorite breakfast casserole and orange rolls.  The fire was lit, the Christmas music playing and Santa got our letter and came a few days late.  This was what I was looking forward to most.  A day at home with my little family.  These two boys bring me so much happiness.  They are my world!

Not Ryan's best pic, but this boy LOVES his dad!

Christmas Love!

Ryan always wraps my present in a wooden box he made a few years back.  It has my name written in sharpie and four screws that keep the top on tight!  He thinks I would peek...NEVER!!  I do love the Christmas season and all the anticipation that comes with it.  I become 8 again :)

This year in that wooden box was a picture of these beauties!  I was SHOCKED!  I didn't have a clue...Ryan (with a little help from my parents) pulled of a huge surprise!  They were in my parents garage and before the day was done, they were hooked up.  I was finding any and everything I could to throw in the wash!

Jackson is such a big helper!

This darling farm was from Grandma and Grandpa Dunstan!  He LOVES to play with the animals!

We feel so blessed to be a family.
